What is MIM
Metal injection molding (MIM), sometimes referred to as Powder Injection Molding, merges two established technologies, plastic injection molding and powdered metal. It combines the strength and integrity of metal with the design flexibility of the injection molding process to offer simple solutions for highly complex part geometries. The Powder Injection Molding process is typically explained as four unique processing steps (Compounding, Molding, De-binding and Sintering) to produce a final part that may or may not need final finishing operations.

COMPOUNDING

COMPOUNDINGFine metal powder less than 20µ particle size is compounded with binders in precise amounts. The ratio of metal powder to binder is approximately 60% metal, 40% binder. Both pre-alloyed metal powders and combinations of elemental metal powders are suitable for MIM processing, and the varieties of metal, available for MIM are constantly expanding.

 

 

MOLDING

Powder injection molding is identical in equipment and technique to how plastic injection molding takes place. The feed stock is injected into a machine where it is heated and into a mold cavity under high pressure. Once molded, the component is referred to as a “green” part.The tooling can be of multiple cavities for high production rates. The mold cavity is sized approximately 20% larger to compensate for shrinkage that takes place during sintering. The shrinkage change is precisely known for each material.

 

DEBINDING

DEBINDINGDe-binding is a process where the binder materials are removed from the molded component. The process uses heat to remove the binders and prepare the part for the final step sintering. Once this phase is complete, the component is referred to as “brown.”

 

 

SINTERING

SINTERINGThe brown parts are placed on sintering furnaces. At the beginning of this phase, the “brown” part is held together by just a small amount of the binder, and so is fragile. Sintering eliminates the remaining binder, then densifies and gives the part its final geometry. The part is subjected to temperatures near the melting point of the material, and the entire sintering process takes 15-20 hours.

 

FINISHING

Depending on final requirements, certain finishing operations may be performed to Powder Injection Molding parts. To improve physical properties, heat treatment can be done as on any metal. Any type of machining operations can finishingbe performed to achieve tolerances that are more precise than what the process can capably supply. Plating and coatings can be readily applied due to the high material density. Numerous mechanical assembly techniques such as welding or cold working can also be successfully used.

SB series sand pumps are supplementary pumps, newly designed and manufactured according to features of petroleum and natural gas drilling equipment. Such pumps, adopting axial suction structures and using wear-resistant cast iron for flow-passing parts, applicable to deliver corrosive drilling fluid (with suspended particulates) or other liquid media under similar work condition, are the best optional pumps of  desander, desilter and mixing hoppers as well as perfect perfusion pumps of mud pumps. Sand pumps SB6×8 and SB5×6 are respectively recommended to be used with drillers over 3200m and below 2500m.

Sealing of SB series sand pumps is mechanical seal, Main seal is high wearing hard alloy mechanical seal that is with a long life; auxiliary seal is graphite packing seal that can avoid accidents. The practice has demonstrated that SB series sand pump seal is reliable and convenient for maintenance.

Shaft seal of SB series sand pumps is lubricated with grease, and bearings are lubricated with oil. In addition, bearings can also be lubricated with grease (bearing caps at two ends of bearings are equipped with grease holes).

Both inlet flanges and outlet flanges of SB series sand pumps are with two series standard dimensions, in metric system for domestic users and in English system for foreign users.

Waste Solvent Recovery Systems Functioning
Using the distillation principle, Waste Solvent Recovery Systems separates the contaminants from the original solvent to allow its re-use. Waste Solvent Recovery Systems is distiller which allows the recycling and the re-use of degreasing and washing solvents. Through a simple distillation process, they separate the contaminants (resins, polymers, pigments, paints, oils, etc.) from the original solvent. The boiling of the solvent is accomplished by a peripheral heating jacket filled with diathermic oil, heated by an electrical element. The vapours are then convoyed to a condenser cooled by air or water. The condensed solvent is collected in a tank, for its reuse.

Features
The waste solvent to be reclaimed is poured into the stainless steel tank Aisi 304 and brought to a boil. The vapours (volatile share), separated from the polluting substances, like ink, paint, grease, pigments, resin (non-volatile share), pass through the cooling battery, where they are condensed. Finally they flow down into the collecting tank. The residuals inside the tank can be removed by the pivoting system or by using the special distillation bags, which enable an easier tank cleaning.

Solvent Recycling Machine:
Solvent Recycling Machine is a solvent recycler with special distiller for recycling used or waste washing solvents.

There is a heating system, can heat the solvent solution in distillation bucket indirectly by heat transfer oil.

After solvent boiling, gaseous solvents enter machine’s cooling system, are cooled by air-cooled or cooling water-cooled and condense into liquids. The liquid solvents are collected in a tank for reuse.
